Automation & Operational Dashboards

One screen. Real data. Decisions made in seconds.

The "monthly board pack" should be obsolete. Leadership decisions are slowed by waiting for an analyst to build the deck, and the deck is stale by the time it arrives. Real-time operational dashboards — drawing from your CRM, accounting, support, ops — surface the truth continuously, not monthly.

The pain points we keep hearing

What we typically build

Executive dashboard

Top-line metrics (revenue, pipeline, churn, NPS, support volume) on one screen, updated continuously, drilled-down for leadership reviews.

Operational dashboards

Per-team views — sales team sees pipeline + conversion, support sees queue + SLA, finance sees cash + AR — with the metrics each team owns.

Customer-facing portals

Your customers get their own dashboard view of their data with you — usage, billing, support tickets, account-health scores.

Anomaly alerts

Dashboards aren't enough — also push alerts when metrics deviate from baseline (revenue drop, support queue spike, conversion dip).

Frequently asked questions

Which dashboard platform do you use?

Default: Metabase (open-source, self-hostable, generous free tier). Alternatives: Looker Studio (free, Google-integrated), Grafana (devops-leaning), or custom Next.js dashboards for unique needs.

How real-time is "real-time"?

Most metrics: under 5 minutes from event to dashboard. Financial / accounting data: typically daily refresh (because the source systems update on those cycles). Truly streaming where needed (support queue, live ops).

Do you do data warehousing?

For larger projects yes — Postgres or BigQuery as the warehouse, scheduled ETL from source systems. Smaller projects we can usually skip the warehouse and query sources directly.

How do you handle data quality?

Validation rules per source, anomaly detection on input, alerts when sources go silent. We don't pretend bad data is good data.

Can the team build their own dashboards after?

Yes — Metabase has a non-technical UI for that. We hand over with templates and training so your team can iterate without coming back to us for every change.

Access control?

Per-user permissions, can restrict by team / department / role. SSO supported. Audit log of who viewed what.
